Meet Michelle, A Chinese student at University Of Ghana who won the first prize of Chinese Ambassador award

HEADQUARTERS has identified a young lady from the Chinese department who is very fluent and eloquent in such a language. Michelle is a third-year student at UG and Publicity Head for the Chinese Department. Michelle spoke on behalf of CHISAG at a meeting between the Department of Modern Languages and the H.O.D., where she assisted in bringing the difficulties of Chinese students to light.

Michelle carries a Confucius Institute HSK 3 certificate and an HSKK certificate as proof of her Chinese ability. She's now studying for the HSK 4 examination. Michelle received the top medal in the Chinese Ambassador award for her academic consistency.

Whilst in her first year, Michelle acted a Chinese play together with some continuing students during the School of Language week celebration.

She also took part in the Chinese culture class organized by the Confucius Institute. She did this to help broaden her knowledge of Chinese culture.

Michelle is running for vice-president because she believes that every great organization requires someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to make things happen, regardless of who gets the credit. She wants to paddle this language-learning boat with all CHISAG members and improve as a group. She believes in action and not words!!
