We have lost hope in this EC - Students challenge SRC vetting results

The UGSRC vetting panel sat down Friday night till Saturday morning to vet students who picked forms for the various SRC Portfolios. As we report, the vetting results are in and the majority of the student populace is fumed at the vetting results. Some claimed the vetting Panel had their favourites even before the vetting and already considered failing others at the vetting room. Allegations relating to Political and Tribal affiliations were dominant among the so-called Panel. Headquarters had interaction with a number of students and it seems only the fans of Prince Asumadu  and Wisdom Ndukwe are okay with the results

"This is why we do not see them as good leaders. Vetting results doesn't win the election", a student claimed. They respect their parties more than we the students. At the end of the day, the majority of us decides who wins. We are waiting for the EC and the vetting Panel to clear themselves on this.

We will like to know your views in the comments. Do you believe in the EC and its election being organized? Is it true that the vetting Panel was selected in the interest of a particular people?

Find below the vetting results of the President and Vice President, General Secretary and the Treasurer

  1. Yes I do not agree with the results from the vetting panel because it seems they all have student political affiliation hence the marks is shared based on political affiliations. To the independent candidates they always end up losing

  3. As a of fact was awake throughout the night to witness the vetting process
At a point in time the electoral commissioner was deciding for the panelists why should that be so .the laid down procedure must be followed. The vetting results for the presidential candidate's and general secretary aspirants are not matching exactly what transpired at the vetting.

  5. I do believe in the vetting Panel. I witnessed the vetting myself. We the audience at the vetting room can attest to the fact that the vetting results is exactly what went on.
If you as a blogger have a personal interest in a candidate then organize your vetting and score your candidates.
    Propaganda blogger..
Don’t lose your credibility because you think your candidate(s) is to top the vetting.
As a concern student I’m for the betterment of UG not propaganda.

    1. This kind of attitude will not make the University a better one. We all know the political influence that goes into the SRC. Besides, I have not declared my stand for any candidate in this election . I write what happens and if it doesn't go well for you, just swallow it.

  9. Yes that's the whole issue and everything seems to show up in the final results. They all have political affiliations. Most of then are Tescons and the rest are Teins so just look at how the results is you will notice what I am putting on board. Student politics must cease
